Everyone Talks Loudly in Chinatown

Plot

The daughter's parents are very old fashioned and strict. The mother always hassled the daughter because she never hung around fellow Chinese people. Also, the mother wouldn't let her date a white guy. That is the main conflict in the story. Also, The daughter doesn't like feeding the grandmother because she thought the grandma was going to die soon. The mother forced her because she thought that she should have used her time with the grandma or else she wouldnt have another chance to. While she feeds the grandmother, she reminisses about the times the grandma was healthy. She used to bring her to Chiantown every weekend. She enjoyed all the treats her grandma would buy her and she remembered how loud the people would talk there. Eventually the grandma dies.
